Türkiye’s defence contractor ASFAT unveiled detailed specifications of the indigenous TF-2000 air defence destroyer at the IDEF 2025 exhibition, confirming updated design features for the country’s first destroyer, which is scheduled to launch in 2028. The 149-metre vessel, built under the MILGEM framework, will be equipped to detect and destroy short-, medium- and long-range guided and ballistic missiles, ASFAT said.
