Poland signs contract with United States for 96 AH-64E Apache attack helicopters

The new helicopters will replace the aging Soviet-era Mi-24 helicopters, providing improved target engagement and reconnaissance capabilities.

Boeing received a contract modification to produce an additional 21 AH-64E Apaches for the U.S. Army and an international customer. This award, by the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), is a modification to the multiyear contract awarded to Boeing in March 2023, bringing the new total of Apaches to produce under the contract to 205.

GE Aerospace and the Polish Ministry of National Defence finalized an agreement for offset commitments supporting the anticipated acquisition of 96 Boeing AH-64E Apache Guardian helicopters.

The Dutch Ministry of Defence has declared the first four upgraded AH-64E Apache attack helicopters ready for deployment. These helicopters are now stationed at Gilze-Rijen Air Base and are prepared for missions both domestically and internationally. Dutch Serceratry of State for Defence Christophe van der Maat made the announcement during a ceremonial presentation, stating that these helicopters are updated to meet contemporary standards and will remain operational until 2050.
