Ukraine has introduced a new cruise missile named Bars, capable of striking targets up to 800 kilometres inside Russian territory, according to a BBC report citing a Ukrainian government source. The missile was publicly named for the first time by Herman Smetanin, Ukraine’s Minister for Strategic Industries, during the Ukrainian Weapons 2024 briefing.
