Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) has announced the completion of the first-ever conversion of a Boeing 777-300ER passenger aircraft into a freighter, receiving Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) approval from both the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the Civil Aviation Authority of Israel (CAAI). The company said the newly certified B777-300ERSF, capable of carrying 100 tons, represents a major breakthrough in the global freighter market.
