Navantia today launched the F111 “Bonifaz” frigate, the first ship of the F-110 programme for the Spanish Navy, in a ceremony held at its shipyard in Ferrol (A Coruña). The event was attended by Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez and Her Majesty Queen Sofía, who sponsored the vessel by breaking a bottle against its hull before it slid into the estuary.
