The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Defence has signed a contract with Leonardo for four C-27J Maritime Patrol Aircraft, expanding the global presence of the C-27J Spartan multi-mission tactical transport aircraft. Deliveries to the Royal Saudi Naval Forces, which will become the 21st operator of the type worldwide, are expected to begin in 2029.
