Airbus has announced the commencement of flight trials in Spain for the Eurofighter Typhoon equipped with the state-of-the-art Captor-E radar featuring an Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) antenna. The tests are part of the Spanish Air Force’s Halcon programme, which includes the acquisition of 20 new Eurofighter aircraft built to the latest Tranche 4 standard.
