Nexter: a record year for CAESAR artillery system orders

Croatia to finalise purchase of 30 French CAESAR 155mm artillery systems by end of 2025

On 25 March, Croatian Defence Minister Ivan Anušić announced plans to secure funding and finalise a contract for the purchase of 155mm CEASAR wheeled self-propelled howitzers.

At DSEI 2023, Leonardo has announced a contract worth over GBP 10 million with the Danish Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organisation (DALO) to equip more than 300 Royal Danish Army vehicles, including Piranha V 8x8 Armoured Personnel Carriers (APCs) and Caesar 8x8 ART (Artillery) platforms, with integrated vehicle camera systems. The technology will provide crews with enhanced drivers vision and local situational awareness, allowing them operate more effectively in hostile environments.

Leonardo has announced a contract to equip more than 300 Royal Danish Army vehicles with integrated vehicle camera systems.

French defence industry company Nexter Systems has received an order from Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic for an additional ten CEASAR (Camion équipé d’un système d’artillerie) 155 mm self-propelled howitzers. The order value is EUR 77 million.
