The U.S. Air Force’s 2nd Bomb Wing has been recognised as the most successful single unit evaluated in the last three years during its participation in Combat Hammer, the premier weapons system evaluation programme, held from 10 to 21 March. The unit, with aircrews from the 96th Bomb Squadron, flew 13 sorties, completing all munitions builds without discrepancies or safety errors and achieving a 100% valid employment rate.
