The U.S. Navy has officially announced the popular name for its new TACAMO mission aircraft as the E-130J Phoenix II. The designation was made by the Airborne Strategic Command, Control and Communications Program Office (PMA-271) and Strategic Communications Wing 1 (SCW-1).
