The Government of Japan officially received Observer Status in the European Medium Altitude Long Endurance Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (MALE RPAS) Programme, also known as Eurodrone.
The Eurodrone project aims to create a cutting-edge UAV system that can support a wide range of military missions and contribute to the EU’s strategic autonomy.
The development of a European MALE RPAS will ensure sovereignty in this area and will foster the European Defence Technological and Industrial Base.
