The U.S. Marine Corps has received more than 100 F-35C fighter jets, enhancing its carrier-based operational capabilities. The F-35C, developed by Lockheed Martin, is the world's only fifth-generation, long-range stealth strike fighter designed for aircraft carrier operations.

The U.S. Marine Corps has carried out the first-ever combat airstrikes using the F-35C Lightning II aircraft, according to an official announcement. These missions were conducted by Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 314, known as the "Black Knights," on November 9-10.
