The Pentagon has requested an additional USD 400 million to continue development of the F-47 sixth-generation fighter under the Next Generation Air Dominance (NGAD) programme. According to a recently published government document, the funds will support Boeing’s work on the F-47 prototype and preparations for subsequent production.
