Patria and Lockheed Martin have signed the first Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) for direct work within Finland´s F-35 industrial participation programme. This MoA covers the contractual framework for F-35 forward fuselage assemblies in Finland by Patria.

Finland’s F-35 fighter jet engine facility reaches construction milestone

The construction of Finland’s new F-35 fighter jet engine assembly and maintenance facility has reached a key milestone, with the building structure now at its highest point.

Pratt & Whitney, an RTX business, completed the F135 Engine Core Upgrade's (ECU) preliminary design review (PDR), affirming the ECU's design is on schedule and exceeding expectations. The upgrade will deliver increased engine durability and performance that will fully enable Block 4 and beyond capabilities for all three variants of the F-35 worldwide.
