The Finnish Air Force has successfully concluded its participation in NATO’s major air exercise, Ramstein Flag 25, held from 31 March to 11 April 2025.
The Finnish Air Force’s first major NATO deployment to Romania succeeded as planned and achieved its objectives. F/A-18 Hornet fighter jets returned to Finland on 29 July 2024.
The exercise will train cadre and reservists mainly of Lapland and Satakunta Air Commands. The exercise will involve some 2,600 reservists. All Finnish Air Force units will participate in the exercise.
