General Atomics Electromagnetic Systems (GA-EMS) has announced the successful completion of key tests for Nuclear Thermal Propulsion (NTP) reactor technology at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC). The tests, conducted in collaboration with NASA, aimed to validate the performance of GA-EMS’s nuclear fuel design under extreme conditions expected in space missions, including human exploration of Mars.
