His Majesty King Charles III has commissioned HMS Agamemnon, the Royal Navy’s newest Astute class nuclear-powered attack submarine, during a ceremony at BAE Systems’ Barrow-in-Furness shipyard. Around 500 guests, including family members, senior politicians, military leaders and VIPs, attended the event marking the formal addition of the sixth Astute-class boat to the Fleet.
