After 15 years of continuous global service, Royal Navy hunter-killer submarine HMS Astute has completed the first phase of her front-line career. She has now arrived at Devonport for a major overhaul as part of a multi-million-pound Mid Life Re-Validation Period (MLRP) to be carried out by Babcock.
