Swedish defence company Saab has successfully launched the submarine HMS Halland after completing a significant mid-life upgrade at its shipyard in Karlskrona. The vessel is the third and final Gotland-class submarine to undergo modernisation, featuring advanced technologies that will also be used in Sweden’s upcoming Blekinge-class submarines.
