Honeywell has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Redwire Corporation to progress the European Space Agency’s Quantum Key Distribution Satellite (QKDSat) initiative. The project, launched in 2024, is supported by the UK, Belgian, Austrian, Canadian, and Czech space agencies and aims to develop new quantum-secured satellite communication systems.
