BAE Systems has confirmed the successful launch of two spacecraft from Kennedy Space Center in Florida, supporting NASA and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). NASA’s Carruthers Geocorona Observatory and NOAA’s Space Weather Follow On – L1 (SWFO-L1) lifted off together on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket and are heading towards Lagrange point 1, about one million miles from Earth.
