The Slovakian government has given its approval to the selection of very short-range and medium-range air defence systems for its armed forces. Now, the Slovak Ministry of Defence will commence negotiations with Poland and Israel for the acquisition of the Piorun MANPADS and Barak-MX air defencesystems, respectively.
