On June 30, the European Defence Agency (EDA) signed a €10 million contract with Dutch space technology company ISISPACE to develop and launch a new constellation of defence satellites. The project, known as LEO2VLEO, will deliver satellites capable of manoeuvring between Low Earth Orbit (LEO) and Very Low Earth Orbit (VLEO), enhancing Europe’s space-based defence capabilities.
