In a significant move to enhance the resilience of the United Kingdom’s military assets against the growing threat of GPS jamming, the UK Ministry of Defence has announced the construction of one of Europe's largest and most advanced radio frequency test facilities. The new facility, set to open in 2026 at the Boscombe Down site in Wiltshire, represents a £20 million investment under a contract awarded to QinetiQ, a leading defence technology company.
