The UK Ministry of Defence has announced the purchase of six Land Ceptor surface-to-air missile systems worth £118 million, doubling the number of deployable Sky Sabre systems operated by the Armed Forces. The contract with MBDA will support up to 140 jobs across the country, including at the company’s Bolton site in Lancashire, as part of the Government’s Plan for Change.
