AeroVironment has delivered two Joint Light Tactical Vehicle mounted mobile LOCUST Laser Weapon Systems to the US Army under the second increment of the Army’s Multi-Purpose High Energy Laser prototyping effort. The systems were provided to the Army’s Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technologies Office, now part of the Portfolio Acquisition Executive Fires, reflecting ongoing acquisition reform.
