On 12 June 2025, Italy marked a significant milestone in military aviation with the official induction of Leonardo’s M-345 trainer aircraft into service with the Italian Air Force. The new jet, designated T-345A by the Armed Forces, is now operational with the 61st Wing at Galatina Air Base, replacing the long-serving MB-339.
