The French Defence Procurement Agency (DGA) confirmed on 28 October 2025 that the M51.3 ballistic missile, developed by ArianeGroup, has officially entered operational service. This new version will gradually replace the M51.1 and M51.2 models currently used by France’s Strategic Oceanic Force.
