Sikorsky, a Lockheed Martin company, has introduced its new Nomad family of uncrewed aerial systems (UAS), designed for vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) operations without the need for runways. The announcement comes less than a year after a successful flight of its rotor blown wing VTOL prototype.
