On December, Defence Minister of Latvia Andris Sprūds and Ambassador of the United States of America to Latvia, H.E. Mr Christopher Robinson, announced the agreement on purchase of Naval Strike Missile Coastal Defence Systems produced by Norwegian company Kongsberg and the US manufacturer Raytheon.

Naval Strike Missile Coastal Defence Systems will be delivered to Latvian National Armed Forces in 2027.

Senop has signed a contract with Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace to supply integrated Fire Control Centers (FCC) to an international Naval Strike Missile Coastal Defence System (NSM CDS) programme. The contract consists of Fire Control Centers integrated into Shelter Systems. Senop announced this on June 20 in a press release.
