The commanding general of the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command (SMDC) has reaffirmed the Army’s readiness to face growing global threats during the 28th Space and Missile Defense Symposium held in Huntsville on 5 August. Addressing the event, Lt. Gen. Sean A. Gainey said that as the air and missile defence environment grows more complex, both the Army and the nation can continue to rely on SMDC.
