A report by Reuters reveals that a Pakistani fighter jet successfully downed an Indian Rafale multi-role aircraft during the first night of conflict between the two countries, due to a significant underestimation of the range of its missile system. The incident occurred between 6 and 7 May and involved a Chinese-manufactured J-10CE jet using a PL-15E missile.
