The Protector RG Mk1 has officially entered service with the Royal Air Force, becoming the first Remotely Piloted Air System (RPAS) authorised to fly in UK airspace.
The United Kingdom’s Military Aviation Authority has officially issued a Military Type Certificate (MTC) to the Royal Air Force’s Protector RG Mk1 uncrewed aircraft.
Equipped with a suite of advanced equipment and precision strike weapons, Protector will provide critical armed surveillance capability and will be able to deploy against potential adversaries around the globe.
