The Royal Air Force’s E-7 Wedgetail AEW Mk1 made its public debut at the Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) in Fairford, Gloucester, with a flypast alongside the Red Arrows aerobatic display team. This marked the first time the Wedgetail has flown in formation with the Red Arrows, before performing a ‘touch and go’ on the runway and returning to Birmingham Airport.
