Bell Textron Inc., a subsidiary of Textron Inc., has been selected to progress to Phase 2 of the U.S. Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency’s (DARPA) Speed and Runway Independent Technologies (SPRINT) X-Plane programme. The objective of this phase is to finalise the design, construct, conduct ground tests and certify an X-plane demonstrator.
