The Ministry of Defence of India has signed a contract worth $248 million with Rosoboronexport (RoE), Russian Federation, for the procurement of 1,000 HP engines for T-72 tanks. The agreement covers engines in fully formed, completely knocked down, and semi knocked down conditions to support the modernisation of India’s armoured fleet.
