Sikorsky, a Lockheed Martin company, has unveiled the S-70UAS U-Hawk, an autonomous unmanned aircraft system converted from a UH-60L Black Hawk, offering 25% more cargo space than the original model. Developed in just ten months, the prototype replaces the traditional cockpit with actuated clamshell doors, a ramp, and a third-generation fly-by-wire system integrated with MATRIX autonomy technology.
