Amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6) has completed joint aviation training with the U.S. Army and U.S. Marine Corps, enhancing interoperability and readiness in the Indo-Pacific region. Conducted on 7 and 11 September 2025 off the coast of Pearl Harbor, the exercise saw America act as a floating airfield for Army and Marine Corps rotary-wing aircraft.
