Curtiss-Wright’s Defense Solutions division announced that was selected by General Dynamics European Land Systems-Steyr to provide maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services to help extend the operational life of the Austrian Army’s fleet of Ulan Infantry Fighting Vehicles (IFV). Under the contract, valued in excess of USD 10 million, Curtiss-Wright will replace the original electronic components used in the ground vehicle’s turret drive stabilization system and overhaul the vehicle’s mechanical components. The contract, which began in February 2023, is scheduled to run through the end of 2028.
