Vocus, Australia’s specialist digital infrastructure provider, and Telesat, a leading global satellite operator, have announced a multi-year contract for the development of a Telesat Lightspeed Low Earth Orbit (LEO) Landing Station in Australia. The facility, to be constructed and operated by Vocus in New South Wales, will provide fibre connectivity to Telesat’s point of presence, linking the Telesat Lightspeed satellite network to terrestrial systems.
