Xona Space Systems has been awarded a USD 4.65 million contract by the Air Force Research Lab (AFRL) to develop and demonstrate its advanced satellite navigation system as a resilient alternative to GPS. The agreement, granted under the Space Technology Advanced Research – Fast-tracking Innovative Software and Hardware (STAR-FISH) programme, will support the integration of Xona’s Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) technology into U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) missions.
