For 30 years, NSPA has provided ammunition support to 26 NATO Nations and 2 Partner Nations through the Ammunition Support Partnership (SP). The Agency offers a proven multi-year, multi-national cooperation mechanism to convene nations, aggregate demand and allocate production capacity according to national priorities. The consolidation of requirements provides economies of scale, reducing costs and logistics footprint, and the legal framework offers a common and efficient support.

Turning point or turning back: German defence policy after Zeitenwende

Germany’s defence policy has come a long way in the last two years. But looking at the challenges that lie ahead for Germany, the current course falls short.

On November 9, 2023, German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius, alongside General Carsten Breuer, Inspector General of the Bundeswehr, presented significant revisions to the country's defence policy guidelines at the Bundeswehr conference. The new guidelines, the first in over a decade, respond to the dramatically altered threat landscape in Europe, particularly following Russia's attack on Ukraine.
