The contract provides intermediate- and depot-level aircraft and engine maintenance, as well as material management support, under the F-16 System Program Office Foreign Military Sales framework. All work will be performed at Sabena’s facility in Woluwe-Saint-Lambert, Belgium, the statement said.
The award was made on a sole-source basis and involves Foreign Military Sales to Ukraine. At the time of the award, $69.7 million in FMS funds were obligated, the Pentagon said.
The Air Force Lifecycle Management Center at Hill Air Force Base in Utah is the contracting activity for the deal. The agreement follows Ukraine’s receipt of F-16 aircraft in August 2024 as part of broader U.S. and allied military support during its war with Russia.
