Ukraine and the United Kingdom have signed a new agreement to deepen their defence cooperation, focusing on joint artillery production. The announcement came during the DFNC3 International Defence Industries Forum, where both countries also signed a Statement of Intent on the LYRA programme.

“Ukraine and the United Kingdom are expanding their defence partnership. The document outlines the parties’ intention to jointly develop and scale up defence technologies. In particular, our countries have agreed to establish a working group to coordinate joint projects under the LYRA programme,” said the Minister of Defence of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal.
