The meeting included experts in defence, maritime security, and military technology. During discussions, Anna Gvozdiar and representatives from Ukroboronprom highlighted the significant challenges of maintaining weapons production under persistent enemy attacks. The Ukrainian side also showcased technological achievements developed despite these pressures.

The Norwegian delegation met with Ukrainian arms manufacturers and attended an award ceremony recognising top engineers in defence production.

Gvozdiar expressed her appreciation, saying, “I thank Norway for its reliable and constant support to Ukraine. We appreciate the interest of the Nordic countries in strengthening our defence production. We are working on new formats of cooperation for the sake of world security.”

Norwegian Defence Minister Bjørn Arild Gram emphasised the importance of continued investment and private sector involvement to support Ukraine’s defence needs.

“Earlier this year, we facilitated the transfer of Norwegian defence technology to Ukraine and provided funding to support this initiative, enabling artillery shells developed by Nammo to be produced in Ukraine,” Gram stated.
