Ukrainian defence company Fire Point has announced that it has conducted a test of its new FP-7 tactical ballistic missile. The company’s chief designer, Denis Sztilerman, published footage of the test on the social media platform X and stated that the missile is produced using Ukrainian components.

According to Sztilerman, Fire Point has mastered the production of solid-fuel engines using composite materials. He also said the company independently recreated the design of one of the modules used in Russian S-300 and S-400 missile systems.

Based on the disclosed data, the FP-7 has a range of 200 kilometres. The missile reaches a flight altitude of 65 kilometres and a maximum speed of 1,500 metres per second.

The maximum flight time is reported to be up to 250 seconds. The warhead weighs 150 kilograms and the circular error probable is stated to be 14 metres.

In December 2025, Sztilerman said that Fire Point intended to complete all formal procedures related to introducing the FP-7 into service in the near future. The missile is intended to be used to destroy components of Russian air defence systems, although there is currently no information about its operational use.
