The Volvo Defense offering draws on the combined strength of Volvo Trucks, Volvo Construction Equipment, and Volvo Penta to serve both military and civilian protection needs. This broad portfolio is tailored to meet modern operational demands, with an emphasis on safety, adaptability, and logistics.
“I’m looking forward to meeting with customers and industry stakeholders at DEFEA and discuss how Volvo Defense’s offer can contribute to strong defence solutions,” said Andreas Svenungsson, President of Volvo Defense. He added: “With our product range, we can contribute to the protection of people, the environment and building safer societies.”
At the exhibition, Volvo Defense will display two variants of its key military platform, the Volvo FMX. These include the FMX 4×4 crew cab and the FMX 6×6 hook lift, both designed for mission-readiness and tactical versatility in a wide range of defence operations.
The FMX platform is engineered for both logistical and tactical roles, offering protected cabs, multiple drive configurations and flexible bodybuilding options. This ensures its effectiveness in diverse military environments requiring robust and adaptable mobility solutions.
Volvo Defense is participating in DEFEA in collaboration with Saracakis Group of Companies, Volvo’s trusted importer in Greece since 1950. Saracakis brings a strong support network across the country, authorised to represent all business areas of the Volvo Group.
Visitors to DEFEA can find Volvo Defense at Hall 2, Stand B32, where the company will demonstrate its commitment to operational excellence and supply security in the defence sector.
