Vrgineers has been selected to participate in the industrial cooperation project for the Czech Republic under the Industrial Cooperation Agreement (ICA) linked to the country's acquisition of the F-35 Lightning II aircraft from Lockheed Martin. The project aims to support the Czech defence industry as the nation upgrades to 5th Generation fighter capabilities.

This marks a continuation of an existing relationship between Vrgineers and Lockheed Martin, which began several years ago when Lockheed Martin became one of the first military firms to test Vrgineers’ advanced virtual and mixed reality headsets for pilot training. Since then, Vrgineers has fully integrated its technologies with Lockheed Martin’s simulation software, strengthening their collaboration.

As part of the cooperation, Vrgineers will work alongside 10 other participants, including Czech companies and universities, to develop or manufacture various components, systems, and equipment. This initiative is intended to promote technological advancement within the Czech industrial and military sectors.

“We are thrilled to be part of the Czech Industrial Cooperation Programme with Lockheed Martin,” said Marek Polčák, CEO and Co-founder of Vrgineers. “This partnership reflects our long-term collaboration and the mutual respect and trust we’ve built with Lockheed Martin.”
