The fast-growing and high-technology Swedish defence company W5 Solutions signs contract with the German company Krauss-Maffei Wegmann (KMW), the European market leader for highly protected wheeled and tracked vehicles. The contract applies to the order W5 Solutions informed about 2022-11-30 and covers the design and manufacture of an interchangeable Archer simulator cabin. Optional cabins can be ordered within the contract and the value of the order for the first cabin is now published, which amounts to SEK 15 million.

The Vehicle Egress Trainer developed by KMW is equipped with specially manufactured vehicle cabins and simulate rollovers. Today the Swedish Armed Forces have three Vehicle Egress Trainer systems to train egress from CV90 cabins. The CV90 cabins were previously designed and manufactured by W5.
