German Federal Government has not disclosed any additional information about the deliveries of Patriot air defence system to Ukraine. The number of launchers and missiles was not specified in the statement.
The decision to transfer the Patriot air defence system to Ukraine was made by Germany in January this year.
Germany was the first Western country to provide Ukraine with a modern air defence system. The first of four pledged IRIS-T SLM systems arrived in Ukraine in October 2022.
